In his role as Senior Vice President with CBRE, Dan helps drive the business services bench of offerings, while also handling client engagement efforts across all sectors, including the CBRE public institutions and education practice.

In his prior role for nearly a decade with World Business Chicago (WBC), Dan led the targeting and management of corporate relocation and expansion projects for domestic and globally based technology firms. Dan marketed the region's technology landscape, and served as a principal public/private liaison for corporate technology & entrepreneurial tech leadership.

Dan is a core member on the founding team that launched "1871" - a 50,000 square foot co-working center for digital startups located in Chicago’s famed Merchandise Mart. A national success story, 1871 provides Chicago startups with affordable workspace and access to mentors, programming, educational resources, potential investors and a community of like-minded entrepreneurs.

In 2012, the Illinois Technology Association awarded Dan the 13th Annual “CityLIGHTS” Award in recognition for his collaborative support of the Illinois technology community. And for consecutive years in 2012 and 2013, Dan was proud to be recognized by TechWeek as one of "The Top 100 Tech Visionaries in Chicago and the Midwest."

Dan maintains active Board and leadership positions for DePaul University’s College of Computing and Digital Media, and the Midwest Executive Board for the international FIRST Robotics program. Dan is also on the Board of Directors and a long-standing judge for the Chicago Innovation Awards.
