Today’s developers have a plethora of touchpoints that are critical in designing a holistic experience.  With every new connected device comes an opportunity to foster brand interaction across a different medium. And in order to truly engage a consumer, developers must synchronize the puzzle pieces and let each experience—whether mobile or desktop—drive which technology should be used. Responsive design is appropriate on a case by case basis, but shouldn’t be the default. The industry is slowly shifting its focus beyond the traditional swipe of a finger, to gestural response and emerging trends on an international scale.
