Rayid Ghani is interested in using data and analytics for high impact social good problems in education, healthcare, energy, transportation, and public safety. Ghani served as Chief Data Scientist for the 2012 Obama campaign, and before that was Senior Research Scientist and Director of Analytics at Accenture Labs.

He is currently with the University of Chicago, working with the Computation Institute's Urban Center for Computation and Data and the Harris School of Public Policy, and has co-founded Edgeflip, an analytics startup building social media analytics products for non-profits and social good organizations.
